In addition to cash assistance, the provincial government also received P10.54 million worth of in-kind donations, equivalent to 580,037 total units of various supplies.
-
These include food packs, hygiene kits, tents, tarpaulins, and other essential goods distributed across the hardest-hit areas.
Baricuatro earlier assured the public that every centavo and donation item is properly accounted for and directed toward the intended beneficiary.
As of this week, 31 provincial assets have been deployed to key northern municipalities including Bogo City, Medellin, San Remigio, Sogod, and Tabogon to fast-track relief distribution and recovery efforts. These assets include vehicles, equipment, and manpower for logistics, water rationing, and debris clearing.
LGU’S PRIORITY NEEDS
The Capitol has also listed the local government units (LGUs) latest priority needs. Sogod LGU requested 18 units of portalets for the camps in Barangays Liki and Mohon.
They also sought psychological first aid, play materials for children, stress debriefing for evacuees and responders, and additional supplies such as potable water, shelter materials, and solar lights.
