Pravara institute suspends HoD, enquiry ordered into claims of exploitation and unsafe work culture

- Indu Bhagat

The Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (deemed university) near Pune has been rocked by the death of Dr Vinod Kumar Goud, a 27year-old postgraduate student in paediatrics from Telangana, who was found dead in his hostel room on Sep 27.

Junior doctors alleged that the tragedy reflects systemic harassment within the department.
