Historically, these two countries have always been among the foremost selections for pursuing higher education; however, changing visa policies and immigration regulations are modifying perceptions.

Evolving Policy Framework in the UK and US

In the UK, the dependents themselves have not shown interest in pursuing postgraduate taught programs, which comes with its own set of challenges. Apart from that form of dependency, the scope of the Graduate Route visa and post-study work rights is accompanied by ambiguity. Although immediate policy shifts are not on the horizon, the overall atmosphere is rather fluid, which is enough to push students to plan for the future.
