South West leading UK economic growth

THE South West of England is making a sizeable contribution to the UK’s economic growth, according to new research, writes Hannah Baker.
The NatWest Regional Growth Tracker, which surveys businesses operating in the manufacturing and services sectors, reported an increase in output across the region last month as companies experienced a rise in demand.
The South West and London led business growth in March despite cost pressures and continued uncertainty in the economy.
