Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Mahagathbandhan while campaigning in Bihar on Sunday and accused the Opposition alliance of protecting "infiltrators". Criticising Gandhi's 'Vote Adhikar Yatra’, Shah said they will expel "every infiltrator from Bihar".

Campaigning in Sasaram and Arwal on Sunday, Shah said, "Not long ago, Rahul Gandhi embarked on a major Yatra. This yatra was to save the infiltrators. Rahul Gandhi can undertake as many yatras as he wants, from Patna to Italy, but he won't be able to save the infiltrators. We will work to expel every single infiltrator from the country and Bihar."
