The large-scale reshuffle, announced through a notification issued by the Home, Jail and Disaster Management Department, is being viewed as one of the most significant police reassignments in recent years. The reshuffle impacts several key districts, including Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Seraikela-Kharsawan, with multiple strategic appointments made to crucial field and headquarters positions. Among the notable postings, Dayanand Kumar has been appointed as the new DSP of Patamda, while Sanjeev Kumar has been assigned as Jamshedpur City DSP.
