JOHN COLLINS believes Scotland will never have a better chance of making history by qualifying from their World Cup group.
Steve Clarke's side are set to battle it out with Brazil, Morocco and Haiti in Group C when they head to North America next summer.
And Collins - who scored when the Scots opened France 98 with a 2-1 defeat to the Samba superstars reckons the new expanded format has handed them a golden opportunity to become the first Scotland side to make it through the group stage at a major tournament.
Scotland learned yesterday they will kick off their glory bid against Haiti in Boston's Gillette Stadium on June 14 at 2am UK time. They are back there five days later when they take on Morocco at 11pm before the razzmatazz group finale against Brazil in Miami. Kick-off in the Dolphins' Hard Rock Stadium is again at 11pm UK time.
