Gaffer Gray says Congreve's strike at death for Dee made it feel like defeat

- MARK WALKER

HIBS HIT BY LATE CON JOB

THRILLER Congreve is hailed, main, after Elding opener, left, and McGrath, above, made it 2-2 Hibs.

CAM CONGREVE rescued a point with almost the last kick of the ball for Dundee with a sensational strike in a topsy-turvy Dens Park thriller.

But Hibs boss David Gray was left gutted after another injury-time goal cost them.

The visitors thought they had mounted a brilliant comeback when they scored two goals inside the last six minutes from sub Ante Suto and Jamie McGrath.

That came after Dundee had mounted a fightback of their own after Simon Murray had cancelled out Owen Elding's opener and Luke Graham had smashed the hosts into a late lead.

But just when it seemed Hibs would grab a huge three points, Congreve popped up to net.

It was the seventh goal the Easter Road side have conceded in injury time this season. That frustrated Gray.
