The zest of both worlds

IT'S a sign of getting old when you are thankful for the rain as I was yesterday.

"Oh but the gardens needed it", was something you used to hear when younger and not imaging one day you too will be fretting about the courgette plants drying up.

May has been like a summer with the sunshine raising everyone's mood.

Let's hope this fresher, wetter week bring us some hydration before an even sunnier June and July.
