Ian Watson believes the work ethic shown by his South Shields squad has given them an 'unbelievable foundation' to build on over the coming weeks and months.

Progress was also made in the FA Cup on Saturday as Watson’s men came from a goal down to see off Northern Premier League club Guiseley to secure a place in today’s third qualifying round draw.
