EASSON: WE ARE READY
Scottish Sunday Express
|August 17, 2025
COTLAND coach Bryan Easson reckons his team are in much better shape ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup than they were when the tournament was last played.

Last time round, in 2022, Scotland lost all three of their pool games after qualifying for the World Cup finals for the first time in a dozen years. That included an 18-15 defeat by the Welsh first up.
Easson said: “I'll be honest: I was really frustrated after the last World Cup in New Zealand, because I didn’t think we were good enough.
