We have Scott to be a lot sharper in future

SCOTT McTOMINAY has admitted sloppy Scotland need to be much better in the final World Cup shootouts.

The midfielder netted the late second and what proved to be the winning goal in last night's 2-1 win over Belarus.

The Napoli star knows the Scots have taken maximum points from home matches against the Belarusians and Greece but acknowledged they were miles off it in both ties and will need to up their game for the return clash with the Greeks and what could be a crucial Hampden clash with Denmark.

McTominay said: "This camp's been good in terms of points picked up - but we know we've got to be better.

"We need to show much more than we are at the minute, me included.
