Korda inspired to follow example set by ‘one-of-a-kind’ Scottie
NELLY KORDA insists it’s inspiring and exciting to see the success of “one-of-a-kind” Scottie Scheffler.
And the No.1 in women’s golf has the chance to emulate her male counterpart by using a special Scottish experience to launch a successful Open bid.
Korda drew comparisons with fellow American Scheffler last year as the pair rampaged to success after success on their respective Tours.
The 26-year-old has not managed to extend the run of triumph into 2025, but Scheffler is on the march again with two more wins in Majors this year.
Last weekend, he added a fourth big one with his triumph at The Open and Korda loved watching him dominate in a star-studded field.
