Labour ‘pushing UK inflation to second highest in the G7’

BRITAIN is set to suffer the second highest level of inflation in the G7 over the next year, experts have warned.
And the development is a direct result of the Labour government's decision to pile extra costs on businesses, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development said.
The OECD also warned that the recent tax hikes will affect growth.
It forecast the UK economy would be “steady” with growth of 1.4% this year before slowing to 1.2% in 2026, although its prediction for next year is an improvement on its previous estimate.
