Jamie's health filo-sophy

|September 15, 2025
BEING Jamie Oliver must be hard work. I'm not sure I'd fancy it much. I mean, he can’t afford to rest on his laurels, can he? To keep the telly work coming in, along with the tie-in book deals, he’s constantly having to dream up new themes.
-
Meals for when we're on a tight budget, meals for when we’re in a bit of a rush, meals for when we're in a lot of rush, meals for when we're stuck indoors during one of those pesky global pandemics, meals for when we've decided to go vegetarian - as if that’s going to last.
Plus, of course, the latest thing he’s been doing: meals full of stuff that’s good for our brains, guts, eyes, ears, toenails and heaven knows what else, also known as JAMIE: EAT YOURSELF HEALTHY (C4, 8pm).
Does he ever worry that the ideas will dry up?
Does he struggle to muster up the enthusiasm he had when he turned up in the Nineties as the Naked Chef, zipping around on his scooter and sliding down banisters?
