In an interview in Danao City, the official shared that she immediately held a meeting with her lawyers upon her arrival from The Hague, Netherlands, where she stayed for almost a month to help form her father former president Rodrigo Duterte’s defense team.

“Nung pag-uwi ko galing The Hague ay nag-meeting kami dahil isa din yun sa mga inaasikaso ko. At sinabil nila (When I returned from The Hague, I met with them because that’s one [of the things] I am fixing. They told me) they are more than confident in winning the impeachment trial--impeachment case,” she said.
