KENT head coach Adam Hollioake admitted some 'home truths' were exchanged after this weekend's disappointing defeat to Glamorgan.
-
Kent were defeated by an innings and 161 runs inside three days at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.
It means Hollioake's side now have two wins, two defeats and a draw to their name inthis summer's County Championship Division Two.
And the 53-year-old admits his team "have to do better" as they prepare to face Gloucestershire away in a match that starts today (Friday, May 16).
"Obviously we're disappointed with the result and probably more than anybody else is because we're the ones responsible for it," he said.
"We acknowledge that that wasn't good enough. The prep wasn't good, the result obviously looks bad as well so we just acknowledge that we have to do better.
"We've had a pretty good debrief and some home truths were spoken about.
