Law stars have spring in their step

Spring is marathon time for a number of Law and District Athletics Club’s senior athletes, with races across the globe, and members have produced some marvellous performances over recent weeks.

Kieran Pugh marked a return from long-term injury with a time of 2.58:31 in Paris on his debut at that distance.

Also running in the French capital was Colin Fowler, who completed the race in 3.32:39.

In Manchester, Mark Hand completed his first marathon in nine years in 2.47:13.

Seven athletes took part in the London Marathon.

Ross MacDonald achieved a new club record and a personal best time of 2.30:51, finishing in 199th place.

Bobby Wotherspoon in a course PB recorded 3.03:00, Elaine Boyle clocked a PB of 3.09:22 and Lesley Graham came in at 3.39:45.
