Optician is a vision of success at awards

Surprised Colette Dunsmore collects her award at the Scottish Optometry Awards

Localeyes was awarded the title of enhanced services practice of the year at the national ceremony in Glasgow, recognising its provision of specialised patient care including assessment of minor eye conditions, specialised contact lens fittings and independent prescribing of medications.

The independent practice on King Street is led by Colette Dunsmore - who is described as “truly one of a kind” by colleagues who praised her “dedication and passion for her work”.

She collected the Stonehouse practice’s award at the gala ceremony, hosted by Vision Scotland and the Scottish Optical Conference.
