Bakery gets back to business after blaze

A beloved bakery hit by fire three months ago is now reopening its second shop - to the delight of staff and customer:

Back again Cadzow Bakehouse is delighted to have reopened in Hamilton after a blaze at a neighbouring unit previously hit their production kitchen (pictured inset)

Cadzow Bakehouse will welcome back customers to its shop on Main Street in Bothwell this Saturday, October 18, with doors opening at 9.30am and marking the end of the suddenly-enforced 13-week closure.

The family firm’s founders say they are “really excited” to restore their second shop, following last month's long-awaited opening of their Hamilton branch, and say they have been “blown away” by the support of the local community throughout their recovery from the July blaze which devastated their production kitchen.
