IN DEMAND: Palace boss Oliver Glasner
LAST SUMMER, Bayern Munich were prepared to pay £15.5million to land Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
The figure would have represented a world-record fee for a manager, surpassing the reported £15m package Chelsea paid Brighton for Graham Potter in September 2022.
Steve Parish held firm and his hard-nosed stance paid off spectacularly as, come the end of the season, the Austrian had fired the Eagles to FA Cup glory.
