LAST SUMMER, Bayern Munich were prepared to pay £15.5million to land Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.

The figure would have represented a world-record fee for a manager, surpassing the reported £15m package Chelsea paid Brighton for Graham Potter in September 2022.
