Charles' message to Spain as train crash toll hits 41
THE King sent a heartfelt message of sympathy for the victims of the Spanish train tragedy and their families as the death toll rose to 41.
His Majesty's letter was addressed to Spain's King Felipe, who was visiting the crash site with Queen Letizia as part of three days of national mourning.
Charles said: "My wife and I have been profoundly shocked and saddened to learn of the appalling train accident in southern Spain and of the many lives so tragically lost in such a disaster.
