Twins were so small I was told to say goodbye

ALEX Grice was advised by doctors to say goodbye to her twins when they were born at just 25 weeks - but they battled to survive and have now celebrated their first day at school.
She had felt "something was wrong" the day before a flight to Turkey and recalls: "The doctor said 'The babies are coming, they're coming now' and my response was, 'Well they can't come now because I'm going on holiday tomorrow"."
Alex, then 19, delivered hand-sized 1lb 12oz Archie and 1lb 9oz Ava at Royal Bolton Hospital on July 9, 2019.
