A lot of people might think that it is a normal view of nature but that is what bees are now making a new picture of a change in rural India, while walking on a trail of village.

Beekeeping is a business that has suffocated employment, environmental balance, agricultural productivity and prospects of rural economy. These possibilities are not limited to selling only honey, but build a whole value chain that can lead India to a 'sweet revolution'. The tradition of beekeeping in India is no new, but the form as it is now emerging at the scientific, organized and professional level is the result of the hard work and awareness of the past few decades. Honey production in the country has reached 1.33 lakh MT. Not only this, honey exports from India are also happening now in more than 50 countries making 750 1750 crore rupees a foreign exchange of more than 5 rupees. Figures do not merely tell the story of business, these open the door to the possibilities of a new livelihood, self-reliance, and biodiversity. The biggest quality of beekeeping is that it It can start in very low investment. A person of any age, class and education can start his work by learning it. In many parts of the country, this business has given the medium of a sustainable and respectable income to unemployed youth, small farmers, women and tribals. It has now emerged as a strong rural enterprise in the states of Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, West Bengal and North Eastern. Plans like National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) have also proved to be a milestone in this direction. Under the self-reliant India campaign in the year 2020, a special package of Rs 500 crore was declared for the same. This is developing reinforcement structure for training, equipment, colony distribution, quality control and marketing.
