He planned to include the forest's issues along with the talents of animals and other general news. He formed a team with Jumbo elephant, Meeku mouse and Blacky bear, who would handle reporting and other tasks.

“We want to highlight the problems of our Champakvan through our newspaper Jungle Khabar, so that these issues reach the Prime Minister, Shersingh, and he can find solutions,” said Cheeku to his friends Jumbo, Meeku and Blacky.

“We're all with you,” said Jumbo. “Together, we'll keep an eye on every piece of news from our forest. Nothing wrong will happen in the Jungle.”

“We'll search every corner of the forest for news,” said Meeku.

“We can even dig underground to find stories,” Blacky said with a laugh.

Everyone burst out laughing at Blacky's comment.

“Tomorrow, the first issue of our newspaper will be released. We'll have it inaugurated by the senior writer Chikabella rabbit,” said Cheeku.

Blacky nodded his head and said, “That's a good idea.”

imageThe next day, the first issue of Jungle Khabar was out. A small ceremony was organised at the newspaper office. Most of the educated animals of the forest had gathered there. The chief guest, senior writer Chikabella, had also arrived on time.

“Welcome, everyone, to the office of Jungle Khabar,” said journalist Cheeku. “A new beginning is taking place in Champakvan today. Our newspaper will publish news truthfully and fearlessly. We seek your support. Now, I request the senior writer, Chikabella, to inaugurate the paper.”
