Held in Chennai, Design Debate sparked dialogue on architecture's role in preserving identity

CHENNAI HOSTS THE 51ST DESIGN DEBATE ON BELONGING VS GLOBALISATION

The theme of this season - Belonging Vs Globalisation - Creating identity in a borderless world, addressed one of the most pressing questions facing architecture and design today:

In an increasingly interconnected world, can architecture preserve identity and create a sense of belonging or are our cities gradually evolving into a universal sameness? Indrajeet Saoji, Group Publishing Director at ITP Media India, addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude to the Architecture & Design industry professionals in Chennai for joining us as esteemed guests, curators, keynote speakers, and partners.

Design Debate is a platform that creates business and networking opportunities for leading stakeholders in the industry, as it brings together industry professionals to share their thoughts and opinions via presentations and panel discussions.

Following this concept, we invited our first partnering brand, Pidilite, a market leader in adhesives, sealants, construction chemicals, and art materials serving both consumers and industries. Dinesh Babu, Regional Manager - South, Pidilite Industries Ltd, shared an interesting presentation on the same.
