The theme of this season - Belonging Vs Globalisation - Creating identity in a borderless world, addressed one of the most pressing questions facing architecture and design today:

In an increasingly interconnected world, can architecture preserve identity and create a sense of belonging or are our cities gradually evolving into a universal sameness?
