Hunting in Quebec with Eastern Canadian Outfitters
My first bear hunting adventure began in the spring of 1993 near Kalispell, Montana where I took a very nice cinnamon phase black bear through spot and stalk with a guide. It was a good hunt with a very good guide, but as the years passed there were two things that I wanted to experience in bear hunting. I wanted to harvest a black bear that was black, and I wanted to experience and share a hunt with the company of a good friend. So in May of this year (2016), I booked a hunt with Eastern Canadian Outfitters (ECO) of Cayamont, Ontario, Canada with the hopes of fulfilling my long held desire. I had heard good things about ECO and its owner, Rob Argue, so I decided to put a plan in motion.
