During its 70-plus years of running the country, the Communist Party of China (CPC) has empowered the Chinese nation to advance from standing up, to becoming rich, to being ever stronger. China’s GDP has skyrocketed from the modest US $12.3 billion in 1949, when the People’s Republic was founded, to US $14.73 trillion in 2020. The country has been the world’s second largest economy for more than 10 years.
