Wide Grip Pull-Ups
Adopting a pronated grip (palms facing away from you), grip a bar wide arms wide. Pull up and bring your chin all the way over the bar, engaging your lats, rhomboids, biceps, traps and shoulders...boom!
How many should you be able to do? A guy with decent upper-body strength and a good fitness level should aim for a minimum of 6. As a marker, a trainee Royal Marine is required to perform a minimum of 3 to stay on course, whilst achieving 16 will give him a maximum point score.
