Departing from tradition, the Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation, or IKSV, will host its 21st Istanbul Theater Festival November 13-26, six months earlier than usual. The shifted timing is a reflection of Istanbul’s rapidly expanding and increasingly competitive community of new theater productions, venues, and stages, and IKSV’s strong lineup is sure to make a lasting impact on the theater scene in the city.
