Namrataa Shetty and Neil Cresto of Namah Design Studio create an office that brims with youthful energy and unconventional decor for Trycatch Tech. What’s more, it toggles between a formal working environment to an informal learning space with ease.

There’s nothing like a bit of challenge to shake things up and make a project really exciting. And when Mohnish Vaishnav and Mehul Prajapati, co-founders of fledgling techie firm Trycatch Tech — web designers, mobile app developers and a training institute all rolled into one — approached interior designers Namrataa Shetty and Neil Cresto of Namah Design Studio to create an office for them, the project came not with one challenge but three: time, budget and the fact that the office — all of 800 square feet — had to be a formal workspace and an informal training institute. In addition to this, the duo wanted something vibrant, modern and off the beaten track.
The site itself was a clean, bare shell, a result of amalgamating two adjacent units into an almost perfect square. This large chunk of space was then apportioned into enclosed areas for meetings, training sessions and the like; and open workstations and a breakout area. The modulation was effected with the help of innovative elements that functioned as partitions — thereby keeping the visual expanse more or less intact.
