MUCH LIKE KARL Lagerfeld, the original multitasker at the house of Fendi, Kim Jones is many things. He is a chameleonic creative, an outsider anointed as insider, and a multi-hyphenate working across two legacy fashion giants ( Jones is artistic director for Dior menswear and artistic director at Fendi womenswear and couture). But strip back all the indelible zeitgeist-y design and what you have is a friends-and-family approach to fashion. Simply put, if it were up to Jones, the atelier would be one long lunch table of collectives who come together to create.
