I work for a video production agency. Almost a year ago, my boss told me about an animated video project that needed to be done within two weeks and that I should drop everything as soon as the script was delivered. Two weeks later I received a rough outline of the project from the client but was told not to start work as it wasn’t approved. Over the next month, I was CCed in a series of exasperated emails about the state of the script. Finally I got a full version and my boss told me to get it done.
