Given that oil occupies a heavy space in the Indian palate, obesity is an inevitable health issue in the country. Holding a position in the top 10 countries in the world that are struggling with obesity, India saw the entry of NutriMost, an international company providing clinically supervised weight loss products with 38 nutritional supplements which are all organic products. “Since conditions in India closely mirror those in the US such as growing economy, growing middle and upper class, increased obesity with western diets, acceptance of supplements for preventative health issues, ability to use our technology in India in English and an overall supportive technology sector, we have targeted India as the place to launch our first major international expansion,” says Chad Wissinger, General Counsel, NutriMost Wellness and Weight Loss.
