The three Slooten brothers are very well know n in the local drag racing community and especially since they own some mean big block V8 American cars that are all hellishly fast!

Whilst Mark loves his Chevy Camaro and Simon his Dodge Challenger, the 3rd brother, Jeroen and his son Bradley are pure Ford fanatics. The 1972 Mach 1 Mustang is Jeroen’s pride and joy whilst the 1979 Fox body belongs to his son Bradley.
Before Jeroen got hold of his Mustang, it had been raced at Tarlton for most of its life, as it belonged to Mick Van Rensburg, the owner of Tarlton Raceway. When Mark and Simon had completed their drag cars and started racing, Jeroen felt it was time to get in on the rubber and fuel burning action. He had his eyes set on Mick’s ‘72 Mustang for a long time and it was also just like the one his dad had owned. After some serious negotiating and waiting for over a year, the car was finally his.
