The new Chieftain helps Doc to channel his inner warrior ...
-
Riding through the pine-covered canyons of the Black Hills of South Dakota it is easy to imagine a group of Indian warriors against the skyline, proud and fierce on their ponies. Named ‘Paha Sapa’, the Black Hills were home to many tribes, but primarily that of the Lakota and Dakota nations. And one cannot help but wonder what the tribal people would make of seeing a man riding a steel pony in their namesake, an Indian Chieftain no less. Reputedly proud warriors, I feel they might even approve of the symbolism in the tank logo and on the front guard.
