Aitken’ın konusu, algımızın sınırları; amacı ise ortak hayallerimizi zincirlediğimiz bütün varoluş biçimlerini paramparça etmek. Doug Aitken’in sanatının dilini 1990’lı yıllardan bu yana; kaybolan sınırlar, parçalanmış alan ve gizli geçitler oluşturuyor. Bir sanat eserinin ne olabileceğini ve bir sanat deneyiminin nerelere varabileceğini yeniden hayal etmek için tür tanımlarına meydan okuyan Doug Aitken sergisini görün, ilham alacaksınız.
Sabancı Üniversitesi Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi (SSM), 13 Eylül’den itibaren Akbank Sanat’ın desteğiyle çağdaş sanatın önde gelen isimlerinden Alman ressam, baskı sanatçısı ve heykeltıraş Georg Baselitz’in eserlerini sergiliyor. Sanatçının yakın geçmişte ürettiği yüze yakın büyük boyutlu resim ve heykelden oluşan George Baselitz: Son On Yıl başlıklı sergi yine kaçırmamanız gerekenlerden.
İstanbul Modern, ana malzemesi iplik olan enstalasyonlarıyla tanınan Japon sanatçı Chiharu Shiota’nın müze için özel olarak ürettiği geniş ölçekli yerleştirmesini içeren Dünyalar Arasında adlı sergiyi ağırlıyor...
