The last rays of summer sunshine kissing the surrounding green fields and foliage which have been nourished by several summer showers. Migratory birds serenading us with their final hymns before their epic journey south to warmer climes. An ambience which wraps you in relaxation. Life should be perfect.
In spite of its sheer natural beauty, the arrival of autumn was one I dreaded growing up. The carefree days of summer were exchanged for the daily drudgery of plodding from class to class, with the return of school. Oh, how times have changed! Now I cannot wait for the changing of the seasons—and not for the glaringly obvious reason of mercury plummeting to ideal temperatures. The UAE and indeed the GCC awake from their summer slumbers and welcome back those who have escaped the furnace to a region that is ready to showcase the best of luxury experiences for residents and visitors.
