new 2-room flats. Less than a week after applications opened for the housing board’s
latest batch of Build-to-Order (BTO) flats, demand for the two-room
units has attracted significant interest, especially from singles.
Under the July exercise, 155 two-room flats in Yishun and Sengkang
were made available to singles for the first time, but they should be at least 35-years-old and have a monthly income not exceeding S$5,000.
