Along the roads of Angola
Time and time again, we stop just to reflect on the beauty of nature. Other times, just to have a good chat, a wonderful laugh or a moment of introspection. On this journey, we find ourselves reflecting on the paths we have travelled in this warm land that is Angola, and we reach the end of another issue of V&G in the knowledge that the world is so immense and that we, social, rational and (at times) emotional beings, are just a ‘little speck’ wandering around. Always in search of happiness. In this issue, we wander along paths full of life, stories, features and places that fill our souls and make us feel more alive. The essence of the earth. We took to the roads between Luanda and Malanje. We experienced the smells, the laughter, the villages, rich in natural landscapes, and the lives of so many, who live with so little but show so much happiness. We returned, a few years having past, to the Kalandula Falls, and how magical they still are! A true luxury in the form of water. We spent the night in the Pousada facing the falls and listened to the deafening sound of the falling water. We visited Aldeia da Meia, where our hearts were filled with love. Here, out of nowhere, lives are renewed. We smiled, played, hugged and photographed moments that will mark us for life. We went to the vastness of the Black Rocks of Pungo Andongo... What a striking beauty it is to see rocks the size of the ‘world’. And so, we created another beautiful issue of V&G. Along the roads of Angola. Happy reading!
