Because there are landscapes and portraits that become burnt in your memory, issue 20 of Villas&Golfe; brings with it a special report, on the nation’s traditions. We paid a visit to Salinas Zacarias salt works, in Matola, Mozambique. We saw magnificent landscapes: mangroves, bird species, the biodiversity of the place and the mounds of white salt dotting the setting. Then, we found another refuge in the luxurious ‘The Brando’ eco resort, on the island of Tetiaroa, in the Society Islands archipelago in Tahiti, French Polynesia. On the flipside of the paradise coin, an important work by Salvador Dalí, The Vision of Hell, had been forgotten over time, for about 30 years, until it became one of the painter’s most emblematic paintings.
