Falámos com os membros do conselho de administração da Optivisão - Miguel José Monteiro, Maria Adelaide Penedo e José António Câmara - acerca da compra da Alain Afflelou. O grupo francês quer reforçar a sua presença em Portugal, através da expansão da marca própria e da entrada no capital da Optivisão com a aquisição de uma participação de 25% que estava nas mãos de acionistas minoritários, mas o grupo nacional afirma que “esta operação não tem dimensão e aquisição suficiente de ações de forma a poder vir a afetar a atual estrutura de gestão”. Para além da entrevista de capa, a edição de agosto conta com reportagens dos eventos Optomevista e 7ª Conferência Anual da Academia Europeia de Optometria e Ótica.

Foi a 11 de maio que entrevistámos Frédéric Poux, o presidente da Alain Afflelou a nível mundial. Durante a conversa, no Hotel Olissippo, aprofundámos as razões que levaram o grupo francês a adquirir 25% da Optivisão.

A Douro Óptica ganhou recentemente o Óscar Opticalia na categoria de Melhor Imagem Corporativa, uma seleção que envolveu as lojas de Portugal e Espanha do grupo. É Ana Sofia Oliveira, em conjunto com Pedro Marta, que dirige os destinos desta empresa que existe já há 11 anos e conta com óticas na região do Douro e na cidade de Viana do Castelo.
