PAX LUMINA Magazine - September2025

PAX LUMINA Description:
Peace and Reconciliation Network of the Jesuit Conference of South Asia, along with its Nodal Agency, Loyola Institute of Peace and International Relations (LIPI), Kochi, has launched the first issue of the online Magazine: PAX LUMINA: A Quest for Peace and Reconciliation.
This is brought out with a view to promoting Peace and Reconciliation worldwide with a South Asian Perspective. In fact, we are highly privileged to have an array of eminent scholars, writers and peace practitioners in our Advisory/Editorial Board.
In this issue
It becomes evident that sustainable peace cannot exist without a firm foundation of human values. These values must also ensure the preservation and sustainability of the ecosystem. This highlights the truth that the end can never justify the means. Left unchecked, the means risk losing all moral and ethical boundaries. Human values provide the conditions necessary for right human action. More specifically, compassion, empathy, and love ensure, as Edith Stein once observed, warmth and meaning in relationships.
