The issue also includes a photo narrative by Ulf Svane, award-winning travel and food photographer, who delved into documenting eating practices across the globe.

Issue 006 is an attempt to explore how food translates into emotion, becomes a way to extend a helping hand and manifests into the spaces it occupies.

In our fifth issue, our list pen downs experiences and tips from 20 professionals on how to spend and save while earning in your career to narratives that feature the science behind commonly seen spending patterns.

To cover all elements and nuances of what art and the culture that it cultivates, we ventured into our this issue through the lens of Spaces. From writers penning down the artistic occurrences they witness in their surroundings to us celebrating residencies and art in and around India, this issue envisions to cover culture holistically. For our List section, we dived deeper into the stories of individuals who over the years have established meaningful, eccentric creative spaces to curate and promote their art form.

For the last few years, the way we consume — be it news, food or any product — has seen a significant evolution. In this issue, we explored the theme local – in all its shapes and forms, in the age of the internet and not. From entrepreneurs to consumers, The Local Web features narratives holistically. For the cover stories, we had an opportunity to dive deeper into the history of two age-old businesses from Delhi, Defence Bakery and Faqir Chand and Sons Bookstore, and how they adapted to the changing times. Our section, The List, this time, celebrates 30 local businesses that solely run on the internet.

Recent times have seen a change in the way youth chooses to travel – in search of connections and experiences at one new place rather opting to visit multiple places in short duration. This issue features stories, in words and photographs, from slow travellers sharing their experiences of what they gained and at times lost.
