For many of us Ramadhan has lost its spirituality and has become more of a ritual than a form of Ibaadah. We fast from morning to night just because everyone around us is fasting too. We forget that it’s a time to purify our hearts and our souls from all evil....we forget to make dua , forget to beseech Allah to forgive us and ask Him to save us from the Fire.

Sayyiduna Mahdi (RA) will be a righteous man from among the descendants of Muhammad, who will appear at the end of time, through whom Allah will set mankind’s affairs straight, and will fill the earth with fairness and justice just as it was filled with wrongdoing and oppression. His name will be the same as the name of the Prophet, and his father’s name will be the same as that of the father of the Prophet . So his name will be Muhammad ibn Abd-Allah al-Mahdi, or Ahmad ibn Abd-Allah al-Mahdi.

How great importance is attached to learning in Islam, can be understood from an event in the life of the Prophet. At the battle of Badr in which the Prophet gained victory over his opponents, seventy people of the enemy rank were taken prisoner. These prisoners of war were literate people. In order to benefit from their education the Prophet declared that if one prisoner teaches ten Muslims how to read and write, this will serve as his ransom and he will be set free. We can freely say that this was the first school in the history of Islam established by the Prophet himself with all its teachers being non-Muslims. Furthermore, they were all war prisoners.

Islam’s position on sorcery for both the one who practices magic and the one who believes in sorcery can be summed up in just one sentence. Sorcery or magic is absolutely forbidden. Remembering that Islam is a way of life, not just a set of beliefs that people may or may not practice, we find that sorcery or magic is forbidden because of the damage they can do to individuals, families and the community.
Sorcery is known in Arabic as Sehr and it is one of the tricks that Satan uses to lead humankind astray. It is for this reason Islam warns against magic. Allah the Almighty warns against it in the Qur’an. “And indeed they knew that the buyers of it (magic) would have no share in the Hereafter. And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their own selves, if they but knew.” (Qur’an 2:102)
In an authentic saying, the Prophet of Islam said: “Whoever goes to a fortune teller (a soothe sayer) or a diviner and believes him, has, in fact, disbelieved in what has been revealed to Muhammad”.
Thus Islam condemns magic, sorcery and even what is called the horoscope or luck or reading one's palm to foretell the future is also prohibited in Islam. This is based on the belief that no one knows the future or the unseen except Allah the Almighty.

The closest relationship and bond that can take place between two people during the course of their lifetime is that of brotherhood (Unity). Although the relationship between a father and his children is much stronger and powerful than the ties of brotherhood, however this relationship (between a father and his child) is one in which the two people are not on an equal level – from the point of view of time, situation, character and the level of respect (that they must show one another), they are different. The only relationship that is a complete manifestation of strong unity, love and affection is the one that exists between two people who are living on an equal plane in life and this is the relationship of brotherhood and sisterhood.

In modern secular economic systems interest plays a very important role. In fact, in the Western world people cannot think of any economic system without interest. From a theoretical standpoint, interest has been a debatable subject among economic and political theorists. They often stress the point that money capital cannot be treated as capital goods on the same basis as productive factors. It is pertinent to remark here that lending of money for interest was abhorred and, in most cases, prohibited by all the monotheistic religions.

Addiction to drugs among young men and women is an acute social problem faced by most of the countries worldwide. Illegal trafficking of narcotics is on the increase in spite of vigilance on the part of governments. Heroin, cocaine, hashish, marijuana and other health damaging drugs are easily available today. This sordid commerce has resulted in young men and women easily obtaining and using drugs. They can be seen sprawled almost everywhere.
At first youngsters take drugs in small doses just for thrill gradually develop a compulsion to have it at intervals. Thus drug-taking becomes a habit from which there is no easy escape. Once addicted to drugs there are very few and chances of escaping.

Allah Say in Qur'an “When you finish your prayer, get dispersed on land and search for my blessing (travel on land for earning money)”. (62:10)
According to hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (RA), Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), said, “after obeying compulsory religious commandments of Allah (that is Namaz, Fasting, Zakat, Hajj), earning money by right means (to fulfil our basic necessity of life is compulsory for every individual.” i.e house, food, clothes, education are some of the sic necessities of every human being.
So, in the light of the above mentioned Qur'anic verse and noble tradition, it is clear that earning money is compulsory for every individual for fulfilling his own as well as family’s need and if possible helping the needy for the sake of Allah.

During the Hajj period itself, the atmosphere around the sacred precincts of the Kaba was like a circus. Men and women would go round the Kaba naked, arguing that they should present themselves before Allah in the same condition they were born. Their prayer became devoid of all sincere remembrance of Allah and was instead reduced to a series of hand clapping, whistling and the blowing of horns. Even the Talbiah was distorted by them with the following additions: 'No one is Your partner except one who is permitted by you. You are his Master and the Master of what he possesses'.

Many such institutions continued to flourish, for example the Mu`izz Madrasahs in Delhi and Budaum, the Firuz Shah at Hau Khas in Delhi are among the many such institutions where eminent Muslim scholars taught. The Bidar Madrasah in Delhi which comprised of three storeys contained a Masjid, a library hall, lecture rooms, lodging quarters for lecturers and students. This pattern of educational institution has more or less continued throughout India to this present day. The course of study may have undergone some modifications, but by and large, the nature of the curriculum remained unchanged.


Now out of these four parts of an average human life, the most crucial stage of his life is the period of youth. The period of youth is a time when a person goes through many changes and experiences; he undergoes and partake many new things which he has never experienced before. The youth begins to feel as though he has control over the whole world, and that he can do whatever he wishes. His desires are increasing day by day becoming attached to the opposite sex, he enjoys lustfully gazing and flirting with them.

All forms of tobacco use are detrimental to our physical, mental, and spiritual health. It also affects our families, society, and innocent bystanders. Let us work together to prevent diseases which can be prevented. Do not use tobacco and encourage others to abstain as well. Good example is the best da\'wah. In Islam, we are encouraged to do good deeds and to spread (teach) good news.

Business Ethics is the branch of ethics that examines ethical rules and principles within a commercial context; the various moral or ethical problems that can arise in a business setting; and any special duties or obligations that apply to persons engaged in commerce. Generally speaking, business ethics is a normative discipline, whereby particular ethical standards are formulated and then applied. It makes specific judgments about what is right or wrong, which is to say, it makes claims about what ought to be done or what ought not to be done. Generally speaking, business ethics is concerned with the study of what is good and bad, right and wrong, and just and unjust in business. Islam places the highest emphasis on ethical values in all aspects of human life. In Islam, ethics governs all aspects of life. Ethical norms and moral codes discernable from the verses of the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet (SAW) are numerous, far reaching and comprehensive. Islamic teachings strongly stress the observance of ethical and moral code in human behaviour. Moral principles and codes of ethics are repeatedly stressed throughout the Holy Qur’an. Besides, there are numerous teachings of the Prophet (SAW) which cover the area of moral and ethical values and principles.

Islam can never be separated from social, political, or economic life, since religion provides moral guidance for every action that a person takes. The primary act of faith is to strive to implement’s will in both private and public life. Muslims see that they, themselves, as well as the world around them, must be in total submission to Allah and his Will. Moreover, they believe that this concept of Divine rule must be established on earth in order to create a just society. Like Jews and Christians before them, Muslims have been called into a covenant relationship with Allah, making them a community of believers who must serve as an example to other nations by creating a moral and social order.

Nowadays the corruption and bribery are riding high not only in the country but most of the world and have been incurable diseases that are more dangerous than cancer. It has destructed the nation and ruined entire system.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is reported to have said, \"If you get from the people because of your position is bribery. Would you get it if you are not holding that position, or if you stay in your father\'s house?\"
This Hadith provide us with the strict definition of bribery and corruption in Islam. Gifts that we get could be considered as bribery if it is meant to oblige us to abuse our position or power

Marriage acts as an outlet for sexual needs and regulates it so one does not become a slave to his/ her desires. It is a social necessity because through marriage, families are established and the family is the fundamental unit of our society.
