山西趕廟會 眾神狂歡
「廟會」是民間信仰中祭祀神靈以求消災祈福的一系列隆重節慶活動。山西各地大小廟宇不下萬餘座，根據村落大小和傳承習慣，有的村子一年僅有一次廟會，有的村子一年有好幾次。從正月初一開始的過大年元宵節社火廟會，到二月二龍抬頭燈盞會、三月十八后土娘娘會、春夏之交的龍王廟會、七月河曲打瓜會、臘月榆次冰山會……幾乎「是月月有節日，日日趕廟會。」而農曆新年期間的廟會更是重中之重。
