Ipswich visit a chance for Moyes to weigh up strength of his squad

CARLOS ALCARAZ, Dwight McNeil and Youssef Chermiti could all push for a starting spot when Everton return to Goodison Park this weekend.

The Blues will host Ipswich Town in the penultimate match at the Grand Old Lady.

It is a game that will be yet another celebration of the club's rich history. And it will also be another opportunity for David Moyes to consider the future, too.

With 15 senior players on deals that are due to end in the summer, the coming months will see a significant squad rebuild.

Before that starts, Moyes still has some unanswered questions.

They are most prominent in attack after Everton laboured in front of goal in the defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

Moyes could, therefore, look to give Chermiti a first start under his tutelage.
