With focus on innovation, transparency, and citizen-first strategies, Haryana Police are redefining public safety.

Unified Emergency Response System

At the core of this transformation is Haryana 112, a unified emergency platform integrating police, fire, and ambulance services. Soon to be AI-powered, the system is expected to significantly improve lifesaving response time. The Emergency Response Support System (ERSS), backed by over 10 helplines, including cyber and traffic, is managed by 182 communication officers and 106 dispatchers.

Equipped with 630 Toyota Innova vehicles, the system has responded to over 2.5 crore calls, reducing average response time from 16 minutes in 2021 to 8 minutes in 2025. Citizens can now also contact 112 via WhatsApp, sharing real-time media and locations — a move credited with saving lives.

Specialised Policing and Forensics

Haryana's fight against organised crime and drug trafficking has intensified with the formation of the State Enforcement Bureau (2023) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (2020). These units have strengthened and expedited investigations and inter-agency collaboration.

In a major technological leap, the Madhuban Forensic Science Laboratory has introduced India's first barcode-based evidence tracking system, earning Haryana top national forensic ranking in 2022.
